The Hellenic Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and Research (HCISR) is proud to announce a new academic partnership with Arcadia Abroad, through which Arcadia Abroad will serve as HCISR’s School of Record beginning in Fall 2026. We are also delighted to join the Arcadia Abroad Partnership Network, further strengthening a shared commitment to values-informed, cooperative global learning. By joining this network, HCISR’s academic programs are backed by the rigor and credit integrity of a top-ranked U.S. study abroad institution.
Arcadia Abroad is a recognized leader in international education, with a 70-year legacy of designing rigorous, equity-minded global learning opportunities. As a top-ranked U.S. study abroad institution, Arcadia Abroad serves as the School of Record for a range of study abroad institutions, providing the official academic oversight and accredited U.S. transcripts that ensure credit integrity and seamless transfer for their students. This partnership connects HCISR’s interdisciplinary model with Arcadia’s mission of preparing students for lives of meaningful contribution in an interrelated global society. By providing the essential academic infrastructure and expertise in U.S. accreditation standards, Arcadia Abroad ensures that the interdisciplinary work our students perform, within Greek clinics, NGOs, and field sites, is recognized with the highest level of academic integrity.
“Arcadia Abroad is proud to partner with HCISR as its School of Record,” said Dr. Andrew Law, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Academic Officer at Arcadia Abroad. “HCISR’s commitment to interdisciplinary learning, academic rigor, and immersive education aligns closely with our own values. We are excited to support their programs by providing a strong academic framework that ensures clarity, consistency, and confidence in the credit experience for both students and partner institutions.”
“We are very pleased to partner with Arcadia Abroad as HCISR’s School of Record,” said Jenny Kratouna, President, Co-Founder & Head of Finance at HCISR. “This collaboration strengthens the academic infrastructure behind our programs while preserving the integrity and interdisciplinary nature of the HCISR experience. It allows us to better support our institutional partners and students through transparent credit processes, while also creating opportunities for deeper academic collaboration and continued innovation in study abroad.”
As School of Record, Arcadia Abroad will:
Issue official academic transcripts for HCISR coursework, when required.
Support academic review and alignment with U.S. accreditation standards.
Provide a consistent and reliable transcription pathway for HCISR’s institutional partners.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to academic quality, transparency, and credit mobility, while supporting evolving institutional expectations around credit recognition and transcript issuance.
